  • As I’m a one Woman Show, the more notice the better! I recommend 4 weeks as a minimum to place an order. As I have limited spots each week for cake orders, the sooner you contact me about your cake, the better. I do occasionally have the capacity to take on last minute orders depending on cake size and design style, so you are always welcome to try your luck!

Please keep in mind that last minute orders may not always be an option and you may not get the level of personalisation your looking for.

  • The first step is to fill out an enquiry form. From there, any additional consultation is done via email before being provided with a quote.

Once I have provided you with a quote, a 50% deposit will be required within 7 days to secure your booking, with full payment due 2 weeks prior to pickup/delivery. For bookings made with less than one month notice, or with a value of $150 or less, full payment will be required.

Please note that bookings are only confirmed once a formal quote is received and the deposit is paid.

  • I do offer a delivery service, but this is strictly limited to my availability. Usually all my clients will pick up on a Saturday mornings, between 9:30-11:30am or as discussed on a weekday evening. When possible, delivery is $40+, based on location. It is recommended that delivery be organised for tiered cakes.

  • All cakes are made in the same kitchen where nuts, gluten and dairy are present. Due to this, The disco Baker does not offer any DF, GF or NF cakes.

  • To an extent.

We will always do our best to communicate with you, and create a cake that you’re going to love. In saying this, pictures can be very helpful in the initial enquiry and consultation process. I welcome clients to send pictures of cakes as inspiration, and to talk with me about what elements they are liking. This helps me to get a better understanding of the clients desired style.

If I don’t fit your desired aesthetic or feel we are unable to create the design you’re looking for, we may recommend someone else to help you instead. I only want the best outcome possible for your event!

  • As expected, only some desserts can be posted. Cookies are avaible for postage.

A postage option is available at checkout, however if you are ordering a large quantity that does not fit into the standard postage cost, I will be in touch to discuss your postage cost. All items are delivered via AUSPOST.

Unfortunately, once shipped, The Disco Baker is not responsible for any damages. We recommend pick up or delivery if that option is available to you.

  • Any major changes to your order less than two full weeks before the required pickup/delivery date, may incur a fee to cover the reworking of the cake design and/or loss of work already completed/purchased for the original order.

Deposits (50% of total cost) are non-refundable. A credit for the deposit may be forwarded to a new booking date if the customer gives at least 7 days notice ahead of time. If you cancel the booking or fail to give 7 days notice for date changes, you will forfeit your deposit and will require another deposit for a new booking date.
